The Concorde is the hotel we point people to when they ask for a straightforward, comfortable four-star in the middle of everything. The address does the heavy lifting: 2 Jalan Sultan Ismail sits at the KLCC end of the Golden Triangle, so the Petronas Towers, KLCC Park and the Bukit Nanas forest reserve with KL Tower are all walkable, and the Bukit Bintang shopping district is a short monorail hop or a fifteen-minute stroll.

It is a long-established property run by HPL Hotels & Resorts — 540 rooms at official inventory — and that maturity shows in both directions: service routines are polished and the food-and-beverage line-up is unusually deep for the price, but nobody would call the building fashionable. If your priorities are position, a pool after a hot day's walking, and real restaurants downstairs, it is hard to beat at its rate. If you want the newest tower in town, this is not that hotel.

Getting there from KLIA airport

Take the KLIA Ekspres from the airport to KL Sentral — 28 minutes non-stop — then a Grab or taxi up Jalan Sultan Ismail for roughly ten minutes outside rush hour. Allow about an hour door to door.
