Does FlightLogic publish its corrections?
FlightLogic publishes every substantive correction to scored or factual content on this page, dated and attributed to the page it changed. Typos and formatting fixes are not logged. Report an error to [email protected] — corrections are verified against primary sources before publication.
Why this page exists
A review site that never publishes a correction is not a site that never makes mistakes — it is a site that hides them. FlightLogic scores airlines, airports, lounges and cards against published rubrics and cites primary sources for rules and prices; when we get one of those wrong, the fix is logged here, dated, with the page it affected. This log is a feature of our editorial process, not a legal formality — the same standard described in our methodology and editorial policy.
What gets logged
Logged: changes to published scores, rankings, prices, fees, dates, rule interpretations, or any factual claim a reader could have acted on. Not logged: typo fixes, wording clarifications that do not change meaning, image swaps, and layout changes. Scheduled re-reviews (new punctuality data, new fleet information) update the page's last-reviewed date but are not corrections — only errors are.
How corrections are decided
Reports go to the editor responsible for the page. The claim is re-checked against the primary source named on that page — regulator text (CAA, UK261), issuer terms, or official airline/airport publications. If the source confirms the error, the page is corrected and the entry is added below. If the source is ambiguous, the page wording is tightened to say exactly what is and is not known, and that change is logged too. Suppliers cannot remove or soften a correction; they can point us to primary sources, which is the same standard everyone else gets.
The log
| Date | Page | Correction |
|---|---|---|
| /flight-compensation-calculator/ | Added cancellation notice and replacement-flight exceptions, rerouting reductions, operating-carrier coverage and unknown-fact checks. Replaced separate calculator implementations with shared rules for the website and agent tools. CAA cancellation guidance. | |
| /trip-ready-mot/ | Removed a blanket six-month passport-validity rule for Europe. Passport checks now depend on destination and passport type; Schengen issue-date and three-month expiry requirements are explained separately. FCDO Schengen passport requirements. | |
| /guides/uk261-flight-delay-compensation-uk/ | Removed an unsupported claim-success account and filing-time metric. Examples are now explicitly illustrative. Replaced blanket eligibility and free-ADR claims with conditional guidance and primary sources. CAA complaints guidance. | |
| /guides/etias-uk-travellers-guide/ | The guide stated the old €7 ETIAS fee. The EU now lists €20. We corrected the fee and removed an unconfirmed mandatory-enforcement date. Official EU ETIAS guidance. | |
| /guides/antalya-airport-lounge-guide/ | The guide incorrectly said British citizen passport holders need a Turkish e-Visa. They can visit visa-free for tourism or business for up to 90 days in 180. Other passport types may differ. FCDO entry requirements. |
Report an error
Email [email protected] with the page URL, the claim, and the primary source that contradicts it. You do not need to be a supplier, a lawyer, or a reader with an account — there is no account system. For formal complaints about our editorial conduct, see the complaints process.
What counts as a correction on FlightLogic?
Any change to a published score, ranking, price, fee, date, rule interpretation, or factual claim that a reader could have acted on. Wording clarifications, typo fixes, and layout changes are not corrections and are not logged.
How do I report an error on FlightLogic?
Email [email protected] with the page URL, the claim you believe is wrong, and — where possible — the primary source that contradicts it (regulator text, issuer terms, official timetable). Every report is read by the editor responsible for the page.
How does FlightLogic verify a correction before publishing it?
The reported claim is checked against the primary source named on the page (CAA regulations, UK261 text, issuer terms, airport or airline publications). If the source confirms the error, the page is corrected, its last-reviewed date is updated, and the change is logged on this page with the date and what changed.
Does FlightLogic change scores silently?
No. A score change that results from new data (for example updated punctuality statistics) is a scheduled re-review and updates the page’s last-reviewed date. A score change that results from an editorial error is a correction and appears in this log.
