Jewel and terminal layout
Jewel Changi opened in 2019 as a standalone lifestyle complex linked to Terminal 1, featuring the 40-metre HSBC Rain Vortex — the world's tallest indoor waterfall — plus Canopy Park, hedge maze, and 280+ shops and restaurants. It is accessible to both departing passengers and visitors without a boarding pass.
Terminal 1 serves Star Alliance carriers including Singapore Airlines long-haul. Terminal 2 handles low-cost and regional carriers. Terminal 3 is SIA's primary long-haul terminal with the best SilverKris lounges. Terminal 4 is a compact automated terminal for regional LCCs.
Lounges at Changi
Singapore Airlines SilverKris Business and First lounges in T2 and T3 are among the world's best, with buffet dining, a la carte options, and shower suites. Star Alliance Gold and business class passengers access these on SIA and partner flights.
Priority Pass holders can access Plaza Premium and SATS lounges across terminals. The Qantas First Lounge in T1 is excellent for oneworld First passengers. Pay-per-use lounge access typically costs SGD 50–70.
