Who we are

FlightLogic (flightlogic.co.uk) is an independent travel review and ranking website published by Elite Digital AI Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17250017), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. Elite Digital AI Solutions Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this site. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

FlightLogic is a static website. We do not operate user accounts and we do not process payments. The personal data we may process:

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and performance. Legal basis: legitimate interests (running a secure website). Retention follows the host's standard log rotation.
  • Analytics (optional, consent only). If — and only if — you accept analytics in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings.
  • Email. If you email us or submit a review, we keep your message and contact details only as long as needed to respond or process your submission. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to correspondence).

Cookies and similar technologies

No analytics or advertising cookies are set unless you opt in via the consent banner, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

NameTypePurposeDuration
fl-consent Strictly necessary (localStorage) Remembers your cookie consent choice Until you clear it
fl-theme Strictly necessary (localStorage) Remembers your light/dark theme preference Until you clear it
_ga, _ga_* Analytics (consent only) Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes visitors, aggregate usage statistics Up to 2 years

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Google may process analytics data outside the UK; transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum and Google's safeguards.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links (marked with an asterisk *) are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination URL includes a page identifier (for example an Awin "clickref", a CJ Affiliate "sid", or a Booking.com "label") so the partner can attribute a booking to FlightLogic. This identifier describes the page and button you clicked — it does not include your name, email, or any account identifier held by us. The partner's own cookies and privacy policy apply on their site. See How We Make Money for full disclosure.

Stay-search links pass through a short first-party redirect on flightlogic.co.uk (/go/stay) before reaching Booking.com. That redirect records an anonymous, aggregate click event (destination searched, page identifier, country-level location, and timestamp — no cookies, no name, no IP address retained by us) and then forwards you immediately. Legal basis: legitimate interests (measuring which pages generate partner clicks).

Third-party links

Our reviews link to airline, airport, hotel, and card issuer websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their data practices.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right to withdraw consent. Contact [email protected] to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and where the change affects consent (for example a new analytics provider) we will re-ask for consent before it takes effect.
