Your browser shares your approximate position (with your permission), and we compute the great-circle distance to every commercial airport in our OurAirports-derived reference set — 4,168 airports with scheduled passenger service — returning the ten closest with distances in miles. Your location is never stored on our servers.

### Which airports are included?

Only active commercial airports with scheduled passenger service (large, medium and small aerodromes). Closed fields, heliports, seaplane bases and private strips are excluded so results stay relevant for travellers.

### What if I deny location permission?

No problem — the tool falls back to a search box. Type a town, airport name or IATA code and open any profile from the results. Nothing about your location is ever requested again unless you ask.

### Where does the airport data come from?

Airport names, codes, coordinates and runway data come from OurAirports (ourairports.com), a public-domain dataset. FlightLogic publishes only the commercial scheduled subset. Distances are great-circle ("as the crow flies") measurements, not driving distances.
